KINDRA

Kindra Calonia defines herself as a wellness artist. Words, movement, and art are her healing tools to support individuals who are seeking to turn their wounds into wisdom. Creating a safe and creative space, Kindra guides students to explore and experience themselves in an empowering and accessible way through the practice of yoga, intuitive movement, meditation, mantra, ritual and ceremony. Coming from a postcolonial research background she seeks to explore the identity building process through the embodiment of language, the investigation of lineage, and decolonizing practices of yoga.

As a wellness alchemist Kindra’s deepest intention is to hold space for others so that they may reclaim their voice and be sovereign in their healing process. “Our journey within begins by connecting to our breath, body and bones – and through this healing process we may remember to align with the wholeness of our being, living a deeply authentic and compassionate life.”
